Louis Pearl – The Amazing Bubble Man

When he grew up, Louis Pearl thought he might become a surgeon like his father, but witnessing his first autopsy at the young age of 16 turned him off doctoring. But he never lost his interest in science, deploying a surgeon’s precision with beakers and scales in search of the perfect solution. Bubble solution, that is.

The tools of his trade are distilled water – it’s consistent no matter where he goes – and Dawn dishwashing detergent with a dose of glycerin. Those are the controlled ingredients. Humidity, temperature, a draft of wind, or even a bit of electricity in the air, can conspire against his bubble bonanza.
